Sarada Kalyan Bhander (SKB) has made most sincere and concerted endeavors to ensure that the budding young talents do come out successful in their grim battle of life and attain the goal of education. For the unstinted encouragement and support extended to them by SKB the young talents could be established in life.
SKB initiated Child Welfare Project with one village Baisakhipally enrolling 34 children in 1989. They were given non-formal education. These children were the victims of domestic and social negligence. Most of the children were engaged as beggars, bonded laborers, coolies, brick field workers and house servants. Today these children receive free regular remedial coaching for improvement of their studies from nursery to Secondary level. PT, Yoga, Drawing, Music, dance, computer classes & spoken English classes are conducted as part of their daily routine for developing their total personality. Study materials, uniform, winter clothing, nutritional tiffin, fruits and milk are given twice to children.
